Natalie Elias, the head of our Wellness Team, obtained her BSc. in Physiotherapy from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2007. She completed her community service on the West Rand and then joined a private practice in Randfontein where she treated both in-hospital as well as out-patients. After 3 years with this practice she moved to a larger private practice in Boskruin where she was part of a multi-disciplinary team for almost 5 years.

Natalie completed her postgraduate certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (OMT) in 2011. She has completed numerous courses including dry needling, taping, intensive mat work through STOTT pilates, as well as Exercise is Medicine. After treating a critically ill cancer patient one year, she felt a need to extend her knowledge and skills further and completed a course in 2013 to treat lymphoedema, namely Complete Decongestive Therapy through the Norton School. After treating many breast cancer patients, she was led into another field which she is also very passionate about: Women’s Health, which she is still continuing to study further in.

Natalie plans to pursue her post graduate studies further with a Masters degree in pain management within the next couple of years.

bronwyn cocks, physiotherapy, randburg


Bronwyn graduated with a BSc Physiotherapy in 2010 from the University of Cape Town. She then stayed in Cape Town to complete her community service at the Dr Abdurahman Clinic.

After community service, Bronwyn moved to Johannesburg and worked with Natalie in a private musculoskeletal practice where, amongst other experience gained, she gained more experience in her field of interest: chronic pain.

She has completed a number of post-graduate modules in pain and the management thereof. Bronwyn also completed OMT in 2015, as well as many other courses such as dry needling, taping courses, pilates, and Exercise is Medicine.

Bronwyn also plans to study further with a Masters degree in pain management.
