Feeling “Fine”

“Feeling fine” is not the same as being healthy.

Health is defined as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of pain and illness.

Every day, I see people who are functioning – but not thriving. They are pushing through stiffness, and ignoring fatigue, and adapting to discomfort so that it becomes their “normal”.

Pain can often be the last signal from the body. Before that the body has been whispering with subtle signs such as:

  • The back or neck that never fully relaxes
  • The stiffness every morning
  • The feeling of fatigue
  • The brain fog

Our daily routines play a much bigger role in our health than we think. Long hours sitting at a computer, in a car; high stress levels, burnout; and a lack of movement can all create a perfect storm for dysfunction in our bodies.

Most of the issues I see in my patients are from these repeated small habits that build over time as opposed to one big injury.

So what can you do?

Taking care of your body shouldn’t start with pain, but rather with awareness.

You don’t need a complete lifestyle overhaul – just some small, consistent changes.

These changes could include:

  • Moving a little more during the day
  • Being more mindful of your posture
  • Prioritising some time for rest and recovery

If you are feeling any pain or discomfort, make an appointment to come and see me and let’s see what small, consistent changes you can make to get you back to the healthier you.

I can help you with:

  • Pain
  • Stiffness
  • Weakness
  • Feeling mentally burnout with brain fog

We can work together with some manual physiotherapy techniques, as well as some practical tools for you to implement to make those consistent changes in your daily life.
